Walk For Hope
Mutual Ground hosted their 12th Annual Walk for Hope on Sunday, September 29th 2019 at Blackberry Farm in Aurora, IL. 360 community members attended this event that had speakers, face painting, pumpkin decorating, impact displays, and music!
Debbie Gurley, Broker with Miscella Real Estate has been an active Mutual Ground Board member for five years, she currently holds the position of 
the Vice President – Fundraising & Marketing Chair. This was her sixth year participating in the Walk for Hope and this year she raised $4,054!!
Miscella Real Estate and BEI Properties both sponsored the Walk for Hope and continue to support the community and organizations that help the people of our communities.
The Walk for hope is Mutual Grounds second largest fundraiser after their Annual Gala held in early Spring. Mutual Ground is the safe place where people come together to break the cycle of domestic violence and sexual abuse. They are not just a shelter; they are a solution. Mutual Ground’s Mission is to provide education, awareness, and life-changing services that empower individuals, families, and communities to end the cycle of domestic and sexual violence.
