“Miss Ella” Geneva Garden

Supports LivingWell Cancer Resource Center

For the past four years Miscella Real Estate, part of the BEI Properties Companies, has been sponsoring and tending to the Garden plot outside of the Geneva Post Office. It has been a great privilege to be able to have a wonderful presence in Downtown Geneva in addition to supporting the mission and goals of the Geneva Beautification Committee. In the plot Miscella staff has been gardening there is a distinguished Weeping Evergreen that catches the eye of most people in passing. This Evergreen named “Miss Ella” has also been dressed for many seasons and festivals in downtown Geneva.

“Miss Ella” was dressed and decorated in pink bra for the month of October to promote and support breast cancer awareness month. The tree was adorned with thoughtful, supportive and encouraging messages from local and visiting passerby’s are attached the Evergreen Tree.

 

As Miscella continues this tradition as they feel strong about the importance to give back in their community and support those in need.  LivingWell Cancer Resource Center is a local organization that for fourteen years has been committed to ensuring people facing cancer feel empowered with knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by the supportive community created by LivingWell. Their focus is to help cancer patients and their caregivers learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and enhance their quality of life.

 

 

LivingWell Cancer Resource Center has created a beautiful supportive place offering free programs and services designed to strengthen, support, encourage, empower, educate and provide hope to patients with cancer and their families. Programs and services offered at LivingWell for children and family include; Education, Fitness & Yoga, Nutrition, Massage & Relaxation, Support Services, Art and Life After Cancer Programs.
